University Link LRT – Final Design

Sound Transit, Seattle

GRIJALVA ENGINEERING is the Lead Traffic Engineer for the University Link LRT Final Design Project. This work includes developing Construction Traffic Engineering Design Reports; haul routes for each of the multiple design contracts; traffic operational studies; pedestrian and bicycle impact studies near the University of Washington Station and Capitol Hill Station; and completed the traffic signal, signing and striping final design plans near the University of Washington Station.

North Corridor LRT – Alternatives Analysis, Preliminary Engineering

Sound Transit, Seattle

GRIJALVA ENGINEERING is currently providing Lead Engineering design services for HCT Alternatives Analysis/LRT expansion from Northgate to Lynnwood. This work includes developing alternative alignments, station locations and conceptual cost estimates for the segment running along SR99.

East Link LRT – Preliminary Engineering

GRIJALVA ENGINEERING was the Engineering Manager for Segment D (Bel-Red Corridor to Overlake Transit Center Station) East Link Preliminary Engineering project. This work included managing the development of all civil engineering design and plans, including right-of-way, track, roadway, structural, traffic, utility and station site civil design elements for 4 LRT Stations.

Tempe Streetcar – Alternatives Analysis/Conceptual Engineering

GRIJALVA ENGINEERING is the Traffic Engineering Manager for the development of Tempe Streetcar design in Tempe, Arizona. This work includes performing traffic operational analysis integrating streetcar into the city street system along Mill Avenue, pedestrian and bicycle facility designs and developing conceptual traffic engineering plans and technical transportation reports.
